Lumpia, rice, tabouleh and tiramisu

Tonight, the Tsu-man and I are visiting Der Heimerenator at his new abode. While the two of them get busy with routers, Xbox games and plasma gawking, I shall be cooking dinner. Although I usually take into consideration the other diners' wants and likes, tonight will be all about me. And people thought Oscar the Grouch ate weird food combinations. ha!

If the lumpia was fresh it could pass to match with tabouleh but not with rice. If it's fried, it's awkward to pair it with the salad. But I just can't imagine tiramisu after eating those three hehehe but then again, it's how we are as Filipinos. Remember those birthday parties with dishes that don't really match? Pork BBQ and Lasagna? WTF? hehehe but we ate it anyway and downed it with sago-gulaman lol

I think those parties are what got me started on the weird food combination cravings. Embutido with fruit salad, anyone? haha! Sago-gulaman has a counterpart here too. They call it bubble tea.
