But today, I dusted my 15 year old Caboodle (purple and green, circa 1995) from the garage. In order to satisfy my pseudo compulsive need to organize something, I turned to my ever growing collection of nail polish. As I was pretending to look busy for eight hours at work today, I was also obsessively trying to remember where I might have stashed a bottle of nail polish here and there. So when I got home, I scavenged all over the bedroom, the bathroom cupboard and the hosts of other little drawers (organization, like inspiration, is a fleeting idea in my world.) where I might have left a bottle of nail polish or accessory or tool. The reason? Konadicures. I'm addicted to them. I want to take off my nail polish almost as soon as I put them on. Just so I can play around with what design to do next! I'm finally able to say goodbye to nail salons that do mediocre paint jobs. (Ofcourse, with the exception of two fine, fine, fine establisments. Chinoise Beaute Bar and Rescue Beauty Lounge.)
Considering that I especially hated having to pay extra for nail art, this new found set is just perfect for me. Plus it gives me the illusion of being somewhat artistic. Bonus! (Despite my Capriconian ways telling me not to kid myself.)
Here's a picture of my Easter bunny nail job:
